Matcha, measured.
We started Popcha because buying matcha felt like guesswork: vague grades, unstated doses, ingredient lists that read like riddles. We sell it the way we wished someone had sold it to us.
How this started
Like most people, we met matcha at a cafe. The drink was great. The habit was expensive. And every attempt to make it at home went wrong in a new way: too bitter, too weak, lumpy, or a pink drink that came out muddy instead of pink.
When we dug into why, the answer was rarely the powder alone. It was the dose nobody states, the water nobody measures, and labels that don't say what is actually in the bag. So we built Popcha around fixing exactly that.
Today we sell matcha in measured 2 gram sachets, a strawberry powder whose entire ingredient list is freeze-dried strawberries, and the tools that make your first cup work like your thirtieth.
And the pink one
The drink you've seen is a pink foam on green matcha. The pink half is our strawberry powder: freeze-dried strawberries, ground, and nothing else. Whipped for about ten seconds it turns into a foam that sits on top of the matcha instead of vanishing into it.
Because it's real fruit, it's lightly sweet and a bit tart - sweeten it your way or leave it sharp. And because there's no tea in the pouch, there's no caffeine in the pouch; the caffeine lives in the matcha underneath.

Our strawberry powder contains freeze-dried strawberries. That is the list. No flavourings, no colourings, no added sugar - and because real fruit is lightly sweet and a bit tart, we say that before you pay, not after.
